Canon P23-DHV-3 Printing Calculator (2279C001)

The Canon P23-DHV-3 Printing Calculator (part number 2279C001) is a compact desktop printing calculator built for everyday office, retail and home-office number work. It combines a clear LCD display with a built-in printer, so every entry and result can be printed onto a paper roll as you work. That gives you a physical record of your calculations, which makes it easy to double-check figures, keep a paper trail for bookkeeping, or attach a tape to a receipt or report.

Designed to sit on a desk or counter, the P23-DHV-3 runs from an AC adapter, so there are no batteries to replace during long working sessions. Its silver finish and compact footprint (9.1" x 6.4" x 2.2") fit neatly beside a keyboard, cash drawer or paperwork, and it comes ready to use with no assembly required.

Key features

• Built-in printing: prints your entries and results onto a paper roll, giving you a running record you can review, file or hand to a colleague.
• Tax calculation: dedicated tax functions help you add or remove sales tax from an amount quickly, without working out the percentage by hand.
• Grand total: keeps a running grand total across several separate calculations, ideal for adding up a series of invoices, receipts or daily sales.
• Currency converter: converts amounts between currencies using the exchange rate you set.
• Full arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for all standard calculations.
• Sign change: switches a number between positive and negative in one press.
• Backspace key: corrects the last digit you typed without clearing the whole entry.
• Double zero key: enters "00" in a single press, speeding up entry of round amounts and prices.
• Decimal point selector switch: lets you choose how many decimal places are shown and printed, to match how you work with prices, quantities or totals.
• LCD display: a clear display shows each number as you enter it, alongside the printed record.
