The Episode EA-COM-MXAMP-160 is a two-channel MixAmp from the Episode Business Music Solution line, combining source mixing, DSP and amplification in a single unit for background music and paging in commercial spaces. Selectable 70V, 100V, 8 ohm and 4 ohm outputs make it suitable for both distributed-line and low-impedance speaker systems.

The MixAmp supports up to 16 sources to 8 zones, including mic, line, balanced, unbalanced and MoIP inputs, and built-in audio matrixing gives flexible source routing. Direct drive amplification delivers 160W per channel for clear commercial audio. A high-power DSP provides input and output EQ plus microphone processing such as ducking, compression and gating. Priority inputs with configurable ducking automatically play priority sources, and a remote 2-pin contact closure input can trigger audio messages or scene presets. A high-resolution color front panel display offers light and dark modes, and OvrC support enables remote monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting.
