Episode ES-CORE-38-IC-DVCS CORE 3 Series 8" In-Ceiling Dual Voice Coil / Surround Speaker

The Episode ES-CORE-38-IC-DVCS is an 8" in-ceiling speaker from the CORE 3 Series that works as both a dual voice coil stereo speaker and a surround speaker. That makes it a flexible choice for rooms that only have space for one ceiling speaker, or for home theater surround channels.

An 8" polypropylene woofer handles mids and bass, and twin fabric dome tweeters mounted on the tweeter bridge, as shown in the photos, deliver smooth highs. The hybrid DVC/surround design lets one speaker reproduce two channels. Frequency response runs from 43Hz to 20kHz with 89dB sensitivity at 4 ohms. A bezel-less grille gives a clean, low-profile ceiling finish, and the speaker is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
