That makes it a flexible choice for rooms that only have space for one ceiling speaker, or for home theater surround channels.

An 8" polypropylene woofer handles mids and bass, and twin fabric dome tweeters mounted on the tweeter bridge, as shown in the photos, deliver smooth highs. The hybrid DVC/surround design lets one speaker reproduce two channels. Frequency response runs from 43Hz to 20kHz with 89dB sensitivity at 4 ohms. A bezel-less grille gives a clean, low-profile ceiling finish, and the speaker is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

Key features

Dual voice coil + surround hybrid: one speaker plays two channels.

8" polypropylene woofer

Dual fabric dome tweeters: on a tweeter bridge handle.

Bezel-less grille: clean, minimal ceiling look.

Crossover with dual terminal sets: shown on the rear in the photos.

Also available in 6" within the series.

Lifetime limited warranty

Specifications

Brand: Episode

Model: ES-CORE-38-IC-DVCS

Series: CORE 3 Series

Product type: In-ceiling DVC / surround speaker

Speaker size: 8"

Tweeter: 1" fabric dome (dual)

Frequency response: 43Hz – 20kHz

Impedance: 4 ohm

Sensitivity: 89dB

Height: 10.6"

Depth: 4.5"

Weight: 4.45 lb

Warranty: Lifetime limited

UPC: 842822049610

Ideal for

Bathrooms, hallways and small rooms needing stereo from one speaker

Home theater surround channels

Whole-home audio zones

https://lerweensupply.com/products/episode-es-core-38-ic-dvcs-core-3-series-8-in-ceiling-dual-voice-coil-surround-speaker
