Episode ESS-ENCL-IC-8 Signature Series Back Enclosure for 8" In-Ceiling Speakers

The Episode ESS-ENCL-IC-8 is a Signature Series back enclosure for 8" in-ceiling point-source speakers. A back enclosure closes off the space behind an in-ceiling speaker, which keeps sound from spreading into the ceiling cavity and the rooms above or beside it. It is aimed at installers who want a tidier, more controlled ceiling speaker installation.

The enclosure features a quick direct connect, so the speaker wiring is made through the enclosure's terminals rather than with loose wires in the ceiling. Tooled alignment instructions help line the enclosure up with the speaker during installation. The enclosure is available in 4", 6" and 8" sizes to match the speaker, and this model is the 8" version. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

Key features

• Quick direct connect: wiring is made at the enclosure terminals.
