A back enclosure closes off the space behind an in-ceiling speaker, which keeps sound from spreading into the ceiling cavity and the rooms above or beside it. It is aimed at installers who want a tidier, more controlled ceiling speaker installation.

The enclosure features a quick direct connect, so the speaker wiring is made through the enclosure's terminals rather than with loose wires in the ceiling. Tooled alignment instructions help line the enclosure up with the speaker during installation. The enclosure is available in 4", 6" and 8" sizes to match the speaker, and this model is the 8" version. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

Key features

Quick direct connect: wiring is made at the enclosure terminals.

Tooled alignment instructions: for accurate fitting to the speaker.

Sized for 8" in-ceiling speakers: one of 4", 6" and 8" versions.

For point-source speakers.

Lifetime limited warranty.

Specifications

Brand: Episode

Model: ESS-ENCL-IC-8

Series: Signature Series

Product type: In-ceiling speaker back enclosure

Size: 8"

Speaker type: Point source

Compatibility: Control4

Weight: 2.7 lb

Warranty: Lifetime limited

UPC: 842822030618

Ideal for

Reducing sound transfer into ceiling cavities

Multi-room audio installations

New construction and retrofit ceiling speakers

Please confirm your speaker model and size before ordering to be sure this enclosure fits.

https://lerweensupply.com/products/episode-ess-encl-ic-8-signature-series-back-enclosure-for-8-in-ceiling-speakers
