The Episode ESS-ENCL-ICDVC-6 is a Signature Series back enclosure for 6" in-ceiling dual voice coil (DVC) speakers. A back enclosure closes off the space behind the speaker, helping keep sound from spreading into the ceiling cavity and neighboring rooms. Dual voice coil speakers are often used where one speaker must carry both stereo channels, such as smaller rooms, bathrooms and hallways.

The enclosure features a quick direct connect, so the speaker wiring is made at the enclosure terminals rather than with loose wires in the ceiling. Tooled alignment instructions help line the enclosure up with the speaker during installation. Signature Series enclosures are available in 4", 6" and 8" sizes; this model is the 6" dual voice coil version. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
