A back enclosure closes off the space behind the speaker, helping keep sound from spreading into the ceiling cavity and neighboring rooms. Dual voice coil speakers are often used where one speaker must carry both stereo channels, such as smaller rooms, bathrooms and hallways.

The enclosure features a quick direct connect, so the speaker wiring is made at the enclosure terminals rather than with loose wires in the ceiling. Tooled alignment instructions help line the enclosure up with the speaker during installation. Signature Series enclosures are available in 4", 6" and 8" sizes; this model is the 6" dual voice coil version. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

Key features

For 6" in-ceiling dual voice coil speakers.

Quick direct connect: wiring is made at the enclosure terminals.

Tooled alignment instructions: for accurate fitting.

Part of a 4", 6" and 8" range.

Lifetime limited warranty.

Specifications

Brand: Episode

Model: ESS-ENCL-ICDVC-6

Series: Signature Series

Product type: In-ceiling speaker back enclosure

Size: 6"

Speaker type: Dual voice coil

Weight: 2.2 lb

Warranty: Lifetime limited

UPC: 842822030625

Ideal for

Single-speaker stereo zones such as bathrooms and hallways

Reducing sound transfer into ceiling cavities

New construction and retrofit installations

Please confirm your speaker model and size before ordering to be sure this enclosure fits.

https://lerweensupply.com/products/episode-ess-encl-icdvc-6-signature-series-enclosure-for-6-in-ceiling-dual-voice-coil-speakers
