The Episode ESS-SUB-SNGL-8 Signature Series Subwoofer is a passive free-air subwoofer with a single 8" polypropylene driver, designed to install discreetly in a wall or ceiling. It uses the wall cavity as its back box, or you can pair it with optional retrofit and pre-construction enclosures, adding deep bass to a room without a floor-standing cabinet.

The low-profile 8" driver offers more than 1/2" of excursion and a ribbed surround for controlled, punchy bass, with a frequency response from 30Hz to 300Hz. At 8 ohms and 85dB sensitivity it is driven by an external amplifier. Hassle-free wiring and a low-profile, thin-bezel white steel micro-perf mesh grille keep the install clean and discreet. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
