The Episode EA-COM-WP-MIC-BL is a black microphone / XLR input wall plate for Episode Business Music (EBMS) DSPs and MoIP networks. It lets presenters, hosts and staff plug a microphone into the wall for announcements, events and paging through the commercial sound system.

Built-in mic processing includes compression, gating, a de-esser and DSP EQ to keep speech clear, and 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones. The plate is MoIP-enabled for use with any MoIP system and is PoE-powered and network-connected over a single CAT5e/6 cable. A splash-proof design with an acrylic, fingerprint-resistant faceplate stands up to commercial use, and a patented installation system provides precise alignment and maximum working area. It is available in gloss white and gloss black with an included single-gang faceplate, works with Control4, and is OvrC-enabled for remote monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting.
