Episode EA-COM-WP-MIC-WH Business Music Microphone / XLR Input Wall Plate with MoIP, White

The Episode EA-COM-WP-MIC-WH is a microphone/XLR input wall plate for the Episode Business Music System (EBMS). It adds a wall-mounted mic input anywhere you need announcements or live audio, and its built-in MoIP transmitter sends that audio over the network to EBMS DSPs and MoIP zones.

Built-in microphone processing includes compression, gating and a de-esser for clear, consistent speech, and 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones. The plate is powered and controlled over a single CAT5e/6 cable using PoE, as shown on the rear in the photos. A splash-proof, fingerprint-resistant acrylic face in gloss white suits busy commercial spaces, and a patented installation system ensures precise, aligned mounting in a junction box. A single-gang faceplate is included, and OvrC support enables remote configuration and monitoring. It is also available in gloss black.
