Episode EA-COM-WP-SPL-BL Business Music SPL Sensor Wall Plate, Black

The Episode EA-COM-WP-SPL-BL is an SPL (sound pressure level) sensor wall plate for the Episode Business Music Solution. It measures ambient noise in a space and sends that data to Episode Business Music DSPs, which automatically raise or lower zone volume so music stays at the right level as a room fills up or empties out.

The sensor is fully configurable, with adjustable data collection frequency and volume threshold. It is PoE powered and network connected over a single CAT5e/6 cable for easy installation, and OvrC provides remote monitoring and notifications. A splash-proof, fingerprint-resistant acrylic face in scratch-resistant gloss black holds up indoors, and a patented installation system gives perfect alignment and maximum working area in the junction box. A single-gang gloss faceplate is included. Also available in gloss white.
