The Episode SIG-56-IW is a Signature 5 Series 6" in-wall speaker built for exceptional performance in home theaters, living rooms and multi-room systems. It sits between the all-purpose Signature 3 and audiophile Signature 7 lines.
A polypropylene woofer with a ribbed surround is paired with a silk dome tweeter with vacuum-deposited titanium, mounted in an adjustable innovative tweeter pod so sound can be aimed toward the listening area. A tweeter compensation switch tunes the high-frequency output to the room. The speaker installs via a one-step or two-step process with counter-sunk holes, and an optional direct-mount backbox is available. It measures 8.9" x 13" with 8 ohm impedance, 90dB sensitivity and response up to 20kHz, and it is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
