Episode SIG-78-IC Signature 7 Series 8" In-Ceiling Speaker

The Episode SIG-78-IC is a Signature 7 Series 8" in-ceiling speaker built for audiophile applications. The larger 8" woofer delivers fuller bass than smaller in-ceiling models, making it well suited to larger rooms, open-plan living spaces and home theaters.

The woofer uses a honeycomb fiberglass Nomex cone with a ribbed surround, paired with a 1" pure titanium tweeter mounted in an innovative tweeter pod. Tweeter and woofer compensation switches let the installer tune the response to the room. The flush-mount design keeps a clean ceiling, and the speaker can be installed in a one-step or two-step process, with an optional direct-mount backbox. The series is available in 6" and 8" sizes. It has 8 ohm impedance, 91dB sensitivity and response up to 20kHz, and it is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
